Our History

Jackie (Schwanberg) Jordan (pictured with her dogs Frank, Li’l Bam Bino and Chili) is one of the owners and creator of Harmony Pet Care, Inc. She has a B.S. degree in Sociology, minoring in Business Administration and an A.S. degree in Veterinary Technology. After 11 years in corporate America, she decided it was time to do her lifelong dream, and was thrilled to be able to combine her degrees and her passion to create Harmony Pet Clinic in partnership with Dr. Brenda Johansen and her flag-ship company Doggy Day Care, DBA Central Bark Doggy Day Care, which has now expanded into a franchise company! Jackie is involved with many community events in which she spreads the word about good dog ownership and spaying and neutering household pets.

Our Story

Pets are People, too. That is our philosophy.  We work hard to strengthen bonds at every opportunity. We never forget every animal is an individual.

From new puppy checkups and microchipping, to mid-life weight management, to our annual “Heart to Hips” screening for older pets; we work pro-actively with owners to anticipate changing physiology and stay on top of health issues unique to your pet.

Regardless of service provided, every staff member is alert to signs that might signal a problem. Any significant behavioral or medical symptoms are quickly brought to the attention of our full-time, on-site Vets.

That’s something to think about the next time your need to board your dog or cat for vacation or business travel. Anyone can ‘watch’ your pets. But only Harmony Pet Clinic combines a knowledgeable staff and the wide-ranging medical/surgical capabilities to respond immediately should your pet need medical attention.
